What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support administrative functions related to Secondary Marketing, including collateral/custodian diligence and underwriting diligence
- Assist in final document delivery and internal control measures to prevent future diligence issues
- Handle defect resolution, compliance auditing functions, and production support
- Engage in service transfer functions as required
- Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities and propose solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience with a High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or equivalent mortgage production or operations experience
- Familiarity with mortgage application, processing & closing documents, as well as industry-standard legal documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Encompass Software
- Knowledge of Conventional and Commercial loans
- Strong project management skills
- High attention to detail with a strong compliance orientation
- Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate high learning agility
