What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively monitor SIEM tools, IDS, and other security applications for potential threats
- Investigate security alerts, differentiating between valid threats and false positives
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to address security incidents and share intelligence
- Align activities with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations, reporting on security incidents and trends
- Regularly tune security tools and recommend enhancements to improve the company's security posture

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant experience will be considered
- Minimum of 4 years of Security Operations experience
- At least 2 years of experience with Azure Cloud-specific security tools
- Strong understanding of security technologies and protocols
- Required certifications: CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Security Operations Analyst SC-200

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) certification
- Experience with Office 365, SIEMs, EDR Solutions, Vulnerability Management, Active Directory, and PowerShell
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks like PCI, NIST, ISO, SOC 2, and HIPAA
