What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review investigation requests for completeness and accuracy, collaborating with relevant parties to ensure compliance
- Provide guidance and support to internal and external customers regarding personnel security processes
- Analyze information according to federal regulations to recommend suitability for positions
- Assist in developing and delivering training on personnel security topics for new and existing staff
- Maintain the Personnel Security Database, ensuring all information is captured accurately
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a High Risk Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with at least one year of experience in personnel security adjudication
- Experience with systems such as OPM NP2 Secure Portal, DISS, and e-QIP
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience training in Personnel Security Systems (e.g., eQIP, DISS, CVS, or comparable)
- Familiarity with drafting personnel suitability procedures and training materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
