What you’ll be doing

• Perform building patrols
• Provide excellent customer service to everyone on the property
• Exercise powers of arrest in accordance with locals laws and company procedures
• Work closely with law enforcement (gain experience for a future career in Emergency Services!)
• Assist visitors, guests and the retail employees with respect to safety, requests for directions, escorts, package transportation, lost vehicles, etc.
• Apply property rules and regulations in a fair and responsible manner
• Write daily and incident reports
• Intervene during medical emergencies and provide first aid
• Be prepared to respond to situations of crime, urgency and disturbance occurring at the mall

What we’re looking for

• Possession of a valid BC Security Guard Licence
• Occupational First Aid Level 1
• Availability to work days/afternoon/graveyard shifts
• Strong customer service skills
