Position Summary:
The Security Guard provides security for patients, employees and visitors. Protects hospital buildings, assets and premises and accomplishes routine maintenance tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Patrols hospital buildings and premises.
• Responds to inquiries for advice or assistance from Hospital personnel, students and visitors.
• Maintains established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.
• Performs minor maintenance activities and other duties as directed.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
Security Guard experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
None required.
