      Position: Security Manager SME

      Location: Tampa, FL

      Clearance: TS/SCI

      Education : BA/BS degree.

      Outcomes:

      The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes in the first year on the position:

      • Establish and manage SCIF facilities.
      • Collaborate with the applicable CDM Security Office on all security matters in support of SAPs and SCIF development.
      • Control and manage physical and personnel security requirements on DoD classified programs.

      Responsibilities:

      The Security Manager supports the Secretary of the Air Force Concepts, Development, and Management Office (SAF/CDM) for Task 7, Security Management Support. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures and develop, maintain, and annually review program-specific security guidance.
      • Advise and collaborate with the applicable CDM Security Office on all security matters in support of SAPs and SCIF development. Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
      • Carry out duties pertaining to document control, destruction, and accountability, clearance processing, briefings, classification management, records maintenance, visitor control, meeting coordination, foreign travel reporting requirements, Security infraction/incident inquiries, self-inspections, physical security, etc.
      • Availability to respond to after-hour alarms and emergency conditions.
      • Encouraged to foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers, including government and military agencies and other Industry partners.

      Qualifications:

      The candidate must have the following qualifications:

      • Department of Defense (DoD) Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
      • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience controlling and managing physical and personnel security requirements on DoD classified programs.
        Direct experience in (and knowledge of) SAP and SAP security programs as they pertain to information, physical, and personnel security, training, interpretation, enforcement and directives.
      • Familiarity with DoD Industrial Security policies and procedures.
      • Good verbal and written communications skills.
      • Ability to read and apply complex security guidance.
      • Good customer service skills.
      • Carry out duties pertaining to document control, destruction, and accountability, clearance processing, briefings, classification management, records maintenance, visitor control, meeting coordination, foreign travel reporting requirements, Security infraction/incident inquiries, self-inspections, physical security, etc.
      • Availability to respond to after-hour alarms and emergency conditions.
      • Encouraged to foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers, including government and military agencies and other Industry partners.

      The following qualifications are desired:

      • Experience establishing and managing SCIF facilities.
      • Carry out duties pertaining to document control, destruction, and accountability, clearance processing, briefings, classification management, records maintenance, visitor control, meeting coordination, foreign travel reporting requirements, Security infraction/incident inquiries, self-inspections, physical security, etc.
      • Availability to respond to after-hour alarms and emergency conditions.
      • Encouraged to foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers, including government and military agencies and other Industry partners.

      Travel: Possible travel to the NCR.
