What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage threats and respond to incident escalations from the Security Operations Center
- Continuously monitor network traffic and systems for security anomalies and breaches
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate with stakeholders for security patches
- Improve SOC processes and mentor junior analysts to enhance detection capabilities
- Generate and maintain documentation on SOC procedures and ensure timely incident response
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Level 2 SOC Analyst
- Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel, M365 Defender products, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Experience with SOC Framework and incident detection techniques
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Critical Start and Rapid Fire tools
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in mentoring or training junior analysts
- Previous involvement in incident response exercises
