- Responsible for professionally greeting and screening all visitors to the Corporate Office. Determines visitors’ needs and ensures they are timely and accurately directed to their host.
- Maintains a safe, presentable, and professional lobby area at all times. Ensures adherence with department and Bank procedure, rules and regulations.
- Manages mail and general deliveries. Sorts and holds incoming mail for each department, accepts packages and notifies recipients of deliveries.
- Monitors reception security. Ensures appropriate visitor management processes are followed and be aware of and report suspicious activity.
- Provides assistance in the coordination of the fire/evacuation plan for the Corporate Office.
- In conjunction with Security Management, maintains the Bank’s alarm notification listings, updates video and alarm access control system as necessary.
- Assists in the coordination and security system maintenance schedule and service requests for all branch/office locations.
- Under the direction of Safety and Security Manager and/or Sr. Investigators, conducts basic research for investigations by reviewing video and other applicable reports; identify potential issues and escalate to management as necessary.
- Disseminates related Security Alerts in a timely manner.
- Answers and addresses multi-line incoming phone calls in a timely and polite manner. Clearly determines the purpose of the call and warm transfers to the appropriate party.
- Assists in other administrative tasks to include updating reports, databases, policies and procedures, and special projects as directed.
- Demonstrated written, verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet and screen visitors in a professional manner.
- Ability to execute duties with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and discrepancies.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to create ad-hoc reports, procedures and business correspondence.
- Ability to operate and/or learn functionality of multi-line phone, security, and bank processing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to act in a team environment and interact in a pleasant, cooperative manner.
- Proven ability to follow general directions and prioritize multiple duties to maintain smooth office operation.
- Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree or related course work preferred.
- Demonstrated prior work experience in an office environment. Prior experience in banking in retail branch and/or operations environment preferred.
- Frequent contact with all levels of Bank personnel.
- External contact with vendors, law enforcement, and outside service personnel.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Security Receptionist is responsible for greeting and tracking all visitors to the Corporate Office. This position will ensure visitor logs and badges are maintained and ensure guests are met by and/or escorted to their contact person. This position will also provide routine administrative / clerical duties to support the Safety and Security Manager and the overall administrative operation of the Corporate Office.
