      Job Description

      This position offers a great opportunity to join a growing organization in an interesting industry. The successful candidate will focus on accounting matters for the Company and is a critical team player in the overall success of the finance and accounting team.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Assist with balance sheet flux analysis
      • Support balance sheet account reconciliations
      • Compile variance data for income statement analysis against budget and prior year
      • Prepare and process journal entries
      • Assist in implementation of policies and procedures
      • Prepare supporting documentation for internal analysis, journal entries and footnotes
      • Maintain and review documented procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls
      • Track key accounting and reporting issues for consideration
      • Prepare supporting documentation for the external auditors and other external parties
      • Assist with ad-hoc assignments, special projects and new US GAAP accounting standard implementation

      Key Competencies Required

      Qualifications:

      • Undergraduate degree in accounting
      • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
      • Public accounting firm and/or corporate accounting experience
      • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
      • Possess a working knowledge of US GAAP
      • Experience creating journal entries
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
      • Experience with the Workday accounting system is a plus
