      Overview

      The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accountant is to provide responsive service to clients and internal employees.


      Responsibilities

      • Posting transactions to QuickBooks (i.e. weekly trackers, payroll transactions, AP, and any off cycle transactions)
      • Oversee the reconciliation of monthly bank statements
      • Reviewing the monthly activity to ensure proper posting
      • Interacting with clients to resolve accounting issues while ensuring the highest level of customer service
      • Printing, collaborating, and filling support documentation for transactions posted
      • Responsible for General Ledger and month end closing process for multiple entities
      • Reclass credit cards and other allocations
      • Preparation of monthly reporting packages
      • Assist with yearly budget and quarterly reforecasts
      • Record benefits
      • Provide financial insights into business drivers
      • Interpret reports and provide a clear narrative on results
      • Actively participate and present to clients their monthly financial results
      • Tailor financial information for different stakeholders
      • Act as a conduit between finance and non-finance audience
      • Support clients through variance analysis and financial modeling
      • Prepares Ad hoc analysis
      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
      • Three years' experience working as an Accountant in the healthcare field preferred
      • Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Word
      • Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
      • Experience communicating logically and clearly both orally and in writing
      • Strong presentation skills
      • Proven business partnering experience in a customer-facing organization
      • Demonstrate knowledge of finance levers
      • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
      • Ability to provide excellent, client-focused service
      • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
      • Experience working with Pivot Tables, Vlookup and other formulas
