We are actively seeking qualified candidates for the Senior Accounting role, with remote opportunities available to applicants across the United States.

About the job

What You'll DO

• Prepare and assist with monthly and quarterly equity accounting tasks such as recording stock-based compensation expense, monitoring exercised options, preparing the equity roll forward, etc. along with ad hoc equity projects
• Prepare month-end reporting and monthly management reporting packages and monitor Post Close Adjustments
• Responsible for day-to-day filing and reporting of state/federal tax compliance along with property tax compliance and monthly tax accruals
• Prepare monthly clinic P&Ls and assist with allocation reviews with FPA
• Prepare clinic P&Ls management reporting packages
• Prepare and assist in year-end financial statement as well as support external audit support and requests
• Perform special ad-hoc projects in Accounting/Finance as requested
• Research technical accounting issues and prepare documentation on subjects including, but not limited to leases, debt, and stock-based compensation.
• Evaluate and support the implementation of new accounting standards and other applicable financial reporting guidance

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting/Finance, CPA license preferred
• 4+ years in Accounting, including public accounting experience preferred
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong accounting research and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Microsoft with a strong emphasis on Excel is a must; NetSuite ERP experience is preferred
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a larger functional team
