      • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
      • Month-End Journal Entries, and P&L Review of Revenue, COGS, Operating Expenses.
      • Monthly Balance Sheet GL Reconciliations & review of reconciliations to ensure appropriate support is available to back up the presented Financial Statements.
      • Inventory – Valuation vs. GL Monitoring, understanding adjustments & GL posting profiles.
      • Fixed Asset System – Maintaining PPE in Asset Keeper, ensuring Capitalized Expenditure Request process runs smoothly with operations department & stakeholders.
      • Capitalized Rebates – Maintaining & evaluating the model for calculating inventory rebates throughout the year.
      • ASC 606 Revenue Recognition application – Ensuring the Company is recognizing revenue in accordance to GAAP.
      • Personal and Real Property Tax Reporting for all branches – by State, County and City. Maintaining control of the P&L expense via accrual and reconciling between actual payments.
      • Maintenance of ASC 842 ROU Lease Accounting – Managed Path, monthly reconciliation of the Buildings, Fleet, Forklift, and Equipment leases active in the Company in accordance to GAAP.
      • Commission & Bonus Maintenance (Payouts vs. Plan) – Monthly review of the consistency of our payouts compared to the modeled commission & bonus accruals based off Company performance.
      • Payroll-Related Benefits & Liabilities – Reconciliation at the employee level for the accrual & invoice payments.
      • Deposits & Prepaid Maintenance – Ensuring proper expense amortization is taking place for prepaid services in accordance with GAAP.
      • Mergers & Acquisition assistance (Intercompany GL activity, GL Integration)
      • General Financial Statement Preparation & Analysis.
      • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA Designation preferred) from a 4-year college/university.
      • 4+years of related GL & Accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
      • Communicate clearly and concisely to customers and colleagues.
      • Maintains a level of professionalism in presentation.
      • Provide guidance and support to our Shared Services team on fundamental Accounting Concepts.
      • Basic personal computer skills, email, and office software (MS Office – Excel).
      • Fundamental SQL knowledge is preferred.
      • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a shifting environment.
      • Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
