Job Description

- Support the Finance Manager in period closing process, including reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L
- Support financial reporting in line with local GAAP or IFRS and US GAAP
- Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries for multiple entities within Europe, including the UK
- Manage intercompany reconciliations
- Fixed asset accounting
- Post and reconcile banking transactions
- Performing AR/AP related transactions, including invoicing
- Assist in tax return preparation, VAT and other regulatory filings
- Assist in system implementation efforts impacting financial reporting systems
- Educational background in finance, accounting or similar discipline
- European accounting certification or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong practical knowledge of accounting standards and practices relevant to multi-national corporations, ‘Big 4’ or other public accounting experience a plus
- High work ethic, attention to detail, organizational skills and sense of responsibility
- Designing and maintaining appropriate internal controls, systems, and procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and enhancing the Company’s internal control environment
- Assisting with the preparation of supporting documentation in connection with the Company’s annual financial statement audits
