- Review Energy invoices and Gas Tracker to produce POs/Invoice Numbers for all Energy purchases and sales
- Review POs, Receipts , Payables, and Sales Invoices for all Energy purchases and sales
- Review and approve Vendor Commission Reports and journal entries as assigned.
- Prepare & Monitor Bank Recon ciliations, and other reconciliations as assigned.
- Oversee reconciliations for all accrual accounts, including Bill Payment Services
- Cash support functions - tracking, communications, and entry / posting support for: Letter of Credit, Line of Credit, RCB errors, CD entries (to include income & expense accruals), Account Analysis Fees, and Interest Income.
- Work closely with the Accounting Manager/CFO to assure adherence to company policy and proper expense and revenue recording for management reports and financial statements.
- Initiate and implement process improvements to increase team productivity and accuracy , upon concurrence with stakeholders .
- Prepare, Process & remit all monthly Utility User Tax (UUT) filings accurately & timely.
- Prepare, Coordinate and/or Submit all required regulatory & tax filings for Ranck and ROCG operation Affiliates.
- Facilitate relationship with third-party oil & gas accountants and integrate transactions with ERP financial systems.
- Verify third-party reports against source documents and reconcile the clearing, suspense and production tax liability accounts monthly.
- Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager/CFO.
- Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance or similar work experience
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure on-time deliverables
- Strong attention to detai l, high analysis skills and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision .
- Self-starter and a proactive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel), specifically strong Excel skills involving large data volume.
- Experience with Salesforce, Great Plains, and/or the Microsoft Office Suite is a plus

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Manager to lead the month-end close.u00A0 They will also prepare, oversee & monitor, as needed , the producer payments and other Gas & Oil Accounting tasks associated with Ranck and ROCG. u00A0 Incumbent will wo rk with all levels of staff to ensure the Accounting Department is meeting the close timeline, data accuracy standards, and the cross-company needs of the organization.u00A0 The Senior Accountant will also oversee all general ledger activity, generate and interpret financial records and statements for management, analyze financial data to prepare financial reports and budget forecasts, and maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities across the affiliated entities .
