      PCM is looking for a strong Accounting professional to join our accounting department! In this role you will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities. Our ideal candidate will be located in the Denver Metro area to come in on a hybrid schedule with our team.

      Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability

      • Perform general ledger (GL) accounting and financial reporting and analysis duties, including maintaining general ledger accounts.
      • Participate in monthly financial close process including account analysis, complex bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
      • Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of balance sheet and reduce the risk of financial misstatement or financial exposure.
      • Maintain fixed asset records and calculate monthly depreciation.
      • Ensure weekly and month end AP deadlines are met and AP department runs efficiently.
      • Continuously look to make improvements and add automation to AP processes and accounting processes.
      • Post bank deposits and ensure proper GL account coding.
      • Analyze expenses and provide detailed expense variance analysis for monthly and annual P&L’s.
      • Provide support to other departments regarding AP, account coding, and expenses.
      • Support the company budget and forecasting activities.
      • Manage department projects focused on process improvement for AP and other accounting functions.
      • Provide annual audit support and work with external auditors on any issues.
      • Manage Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains accounting system acting as administrator and working to continuously further system knowledge and experience.
      • Act as Great Plains key corporate contact for GP users and RSM consultants concerning GP support, user training and all other company needs.
      • Collaborate with the other accounting/finance department staff to support overall department goals and objectives.
      • Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls and GAAP.
      • Continuously work to improve internal controls.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Business required
      • 5+ years of experience in a general ledger accounting role
      • Experience with Sage Intacct is highly preferred
      • Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains
      • Advanced experience with Excel and other MS Office Applications
      • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with others
      • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
      • Able to work with highly confidential information in a professional manner
      • Flexible and dependable self-starter
      • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with ease and take ownership of assigned tasks or projects
      • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
      • Thorough understanding of general ledger accounts and practical application of GAAP

      The typical base pay range for this role is USD $70,400 - $103,000 per year.

      Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
