What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently manage and execute complex accounting processes across various corporate accounting functions, including leases, debt, equity, and intercompany transactions
- Apply advanced US GAAP and IFRS principles to provide expert interpretations and guidance
- Take ownership of the timely and accurate completion of critical portions of the monthly and quarterly close process
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, designing and maintaining internal controls
- Conduct detailed analysis of corporate balance sheet and income statement accounts to support financial reporting and decision-making

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CA certification
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience with expertise in corporate accounting functions
- Advanced understanding and practical application of US GAAP and IFRS principles
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with SEC filings
- Background in large companies or large private companies and public accounting
