What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide expert analytical support and thought leadership primarily for the Real Estate team
- Develop and apply analytical tools to enhance organizational efficiency and inform real estate strategy
- Lead the real estate analytics track and champion the adoption of geospatial tools across the organization
- Evaluate store locations using geodemographics, competitor data, and internal insights
- Communicate business analysis and locational insights effectively to Real Estate customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Geography/GIS, Data Analytics, Planning, Economics, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred
- 5-10 years of business experience in analytics, with a focus on Real Estate analytics or location research/strategy
- Expert knowledge of spatial models and desktop GIS software
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or another programming language
- Strong communication skills and experience in developing presentations for leadership and business partners
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms
- Familiarity with mobile insights platforms and dashboarding software
- Background in an Advanced Analytics environment working with retail data in Databricks
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
