Role Overview: Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a Senior Sales Analyst to support the Walmart team. This role will be responsible for supporting TBG business through customer and business analysis, providing sales and replenishment support to develop and strengthen Tropicana's strategic partnerships both internally and externally and assisting in developing and executing strategies with retailers to drive growth with internal and external partners.
Additional responsibilities include: - Collect, analyze, and interpret internal and external sales data daily to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for TBG's portfolio, enabling the Walmart team to achieve strategic objectives
- Develop and manage reporting through both Scintilla and IRI to that will support key business initiatives and drive growth at Walmart through actionable insights, strategies and tactics
- Support of replenishment with internal and external customers, driving corrective action with internal and external business partners to mitigate retail risk such as mitigating OOSs, NIL picks and phantom inventory through analysis and writing SSOs.
- Oversee demand planning and supply chain customer service processes to guarantee that demand forecast is accurate
- Inform and support business decisions by creating reports, forecasting sales and communicating insights to team leadership.
- Participate in customer presentation preparation and meetings
- Responsible for the maintenance of existing and new items, pricing updates, sample request, and product images, etc.
- Regular analysis of market trends, monitoring KPIs, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance sales efficiencies.
- Develop strong business relationships and winning partnerships with Walmart's merchants to develop and grow Tropicana Brands Group businesses at Walmart.
- Provide superior customer service and lead customer negotiations to grow the business and deliver against sales, revenue and profit goals.
- Proactively uncover and develop key insights in partnership with sales team that are linked to clear and actionable results to drive growth opportunities for Walmart through market and retailer data
- Collaborate cross-functionally to guide the development and implementation of strategic plans to align with customer goals, sell in innovation and key initiatives to advance our position with the customer. These cross functional stakeholders include category management, commercial strategy, sales planning, marketing, shopper marketing, eComm, sales finance, supply chain and operations.
- Influence the internal stakeholders to support WMT annual operating plan, deliver on customer expectations and unlock execution.
- Leverage expert understanding of our system economics and value chain to deliver against financial goals.
- Anticipate business issues and proactively plan resolution to address and communicate to key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Requirements: - 2-4+ years of experience in commercial, sales, financial, or RGM experience with a heavy focus on data analysis and data-driven storytelling
- Must be within commuting distance of Bentonville, AR
- Experience w/ Scintilla, RetailLink, and IRI/Circana. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Candidates with desire to grow their career in sales or commercial function preferred
