- Crafting engaging, creative copy that aligns to strategy and brand voice at consistently high levels
- Developing clear, concise, insight driven ideas and conceptual work that brings strategy to life in fresh and unique ways
- Collaborating with other key creative team members: art directors, designers, production, proofreading
- Ability to identify and uncover hidden opportunities and think beyond the brief
- Building and maintaining respectful partnerships with all teams within the marketing group: Account, Strategy, Project Management, Social, Production
- Providing direction and expertise to junior level copywriters on their craft
- Building business knowledge and partnerships; making it their business to know the business and the category
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; may also have advanced degree
- Advertising portfolio school is a plus
- 7+ years Industry Experience (at least 4 of which is Agency experience)
- Has first-hand experience producing work for a range of media and formats from print to outdoor to digital and social, especially broadcast (TV & radio)
- Online portfolio with work that demonstrates conceptual thinking & ability to craft copy and scripts for a range of voices from serious to humorous
- Strong creative and conceptual vision, with the ability to approach every assignment with a fresh perspective and tone of voice
- Strong knowledge of print, broadcast/video and digital production process and be skilled in providing direction and driving to project completion
- Possess solid communication and presentation skills
- Deft project management skills; meets all deadlines with work that consistently exceeds expectations

Job Summary:
At Allstate, Senior Copywriters are equal parts solid conceptual thinker and passionate practitioner of the craft of copy. From idea conception through final execution, you’ll apply business knowledge, data, and consumer insights to solutions that deliver results. You will be responsible for successfully directing multiple aspects of an ad campaign or communication program, across all media: from print to film, digital, social, activations, etc. Senior Copywriters stay current and savvy to trends in advertising, as well as culture in general, to deliver solutions that are on brand, and culturally relevant. Senior Copywriters at Allstate are tireless consumer advocates and fierce champions of the brand, leveraging their craft to help shape the future of one of America's most trusted and recognized brands.

Compensation offered for this role is $102,500.00-$170,375.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
