- Review and assist in the preparation of marketing-related materials
- Review and complete consultant and investor questionnaires and due-diligence materials
- Be able to communicate with investors and handle inquiries and due diligence requests
- Execute performance and portfolio data analysis
- Help coordinate and prepare Pomona’s annual meetings including PowerPoint presentations and logistics of the day
- Help maintain Pomona’s CRM system
- May also need to participate in special projects including ESG report
- Be able to collaborate with the IR team and other areas of Pomona to ensure full coordination
- Help execute fundraising strategy and target new prospects (prior knowledge and participation in a private equity sales process is important)
- Assist Head of IR and IR team in supporting the fund raising strategy
- Help manage CRM database to track fundraising activity
- Assist in researching, identifying and prioritizing new targets
- Help manage prospects through fund raising process from initial contact through close of commitment dollars
- Help plan roadshows and prepare materials
- Help execute on follow ups, including responding to investor questionnaires (RFPs) and inquiries
- Help research and evaluate market trends and competitors
- Over time, learn and be able to effectively communicate Pomona’s strategy and portfolio
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Strong academic and professional pedigree
- Minimum of 4 years of Investor Relations experience, mainly in financial services and private equity
- Existing knowledge of private equity investor community
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding performance expectations
- A candidate who is seeking a hybrid IR role that may lead into a sales role as advancement into senior role
- A team player who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong PowerPoint and excel skills required
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills as well as ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment•

Key Responsibilities:
Pomona Capital seeks to hire a Associate / Senior Associate to join the Pomona Capital Investor Relations team. This position is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to be able to function in an investor relations capacity and support the capital raising effort. The candidate should have prior experience in participating in and supporting a private equity capital raising process as well as formulating and responding to investors’ questionnaires and requests as well as preparing presentations/marketing materials. The successful candidate will be self-directed and able to prioritize multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Prior knowledge of the private equity industry and function of this role is key.Investor Relations Function

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
