- Be the face of Internal Audit in front of management. Build and maintain relationships with management and business associates through periodic touchbases
- Manage and Execute complex audit activities to analyze and evaluate the performance of the organization’s financial, operational, and managerial process systems to identify risks, areas for improvement, and to ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards
- Collect, examine, analyze, and verify information about the organization’s systems and processes by reviewing manuals, policies, reports, financial statements, and other written materials, and by interviewing organizational members where required
- Prepare and Review audit work papers in compliance with Internal Audit policies and standards (Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing as prescribed by the Institute of Internal Auditors)
- Develop recommendations for changes to processes and systems that will minimize risk, improve performance and productivity, and communicate results directly to management
- Manage formal reporting process in order to communicate results of audits to management
- Manage tracking and reporting the status of audit projects to Internal Audit team leadership and management. Work to hold management accountable for remediation.
- Draft risk-based observations based on results of audit evidence analysis and defined criteria
- Prepare audit reports that accurately document the audit process and its findings
- Follow up on prior audit results and discuss progress to monitor and verify management’s remediation of observations
- Assess the risk and controls based on understanding of the operations/data analytics to define the scope of the audit and its impact on business effectiveness, efficiency, and reliability.
- Learn, obtain training, and develop skills to improve self and grow into other opportunities within Internal Audit or the business. May lead or co-lead a department committee to review and suggest continued enhancement to audit processes, training,
- Support the timely completion of audit plan and support Internal Audit objectives and targets
- Management - Train and develop seniors to plan, scope, and perform internal audits and risk assessments within established business process controls. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Collaboration - Work with management in all areas to define the audit function as it relates to overall business activities. Manages the annual audit risk assessment and planning process. Review audit plan with key stakeholders annually and each quarter.
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance OR Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of audit experience in Finance OR Technology or 3+ years’ work experience in relevant business operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) required
- Experience with Data Analytics tools (ACL, WinSQL, etc.) a plus
- Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP) OR of Information Technology Frameworks (COBIT, ISO) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) experience a plus
- CA/CPA OR CISA/CISM/CISSP required, CIA preferred.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) required;

You will also impact the way the business thinks and operates, driving improvements and growth by identifying areas where the business can take on more risk.
