      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Participate in the creation and review of department/agency budget requests and revenue forecasts
      - Guide departments and agencies through the annual work program distribution based on enacted budget laws
      - Respond to technical and procedural questions regarding budgetary matters and the state's budget process
      - Monitor legislation in assigned policy areas and perform fiscal analysis to assess programmatic and budgetary impact
      - Provide on-the-job training and guidance to Budget Analysts and coordinate with other Bureau staff for specific projects

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - A Master's degree with at least two (2) years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with at least four (4) years of relevant experience
      - Relevant experience in budgeting, business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, or fiscal/economic analysis
      - Knowledge of budgetary processes and techniques
      - Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
      - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite software, including Excel and PowerPoint

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with the State's Budget and Financial Management System
      - Knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration and public finance
      - Familiarity with governmental accounting procedures and operations
