      An exciting opportunity has come about for an experienced Senior Business Advisor within the Office of the Deputy Secretary, Corporate Services, Finance and Enablement.


      This will be an opportunity for you to lead and contribute to the group business operations, planning and reporting with responsibility of the following:

      • Annual Estimates of Appropriations and Select Committee Annual Review for the Group.
      • Monthly reports to the Deputy Secretary and Chief Executive that include performance measures and targets, commentary on key areas of focus, and how risks and issues are managed.
      • Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning.
      • Coordination of internal business compliance activities.

      • A sound understanding of the machinery of government process.
      • Proven experience of coordinating and managing Annual Estimates of Appropriations and Select Committee Annual Review.
      • Proven work experience in the public sector in a business management, strategic, planning, reporting (internal and external), and/or governance role.
      • Experience in critical analysis of information from a wide range of sources to produce high quality reports to Executives.
      • Process driven with demonstrated experience in continuous business improvement.
      • Sound knowledge and understanding of developments within government, state sector and MBIE.
      • A tertiary qualification or extensive and comparable relevant experience
      • Must have legal right to live and work in NZ
