      As a Business Operations Planning Analyst in the Embedded Business Unit (EBU), you will be responsible for handling the monthly demand and supply planning process. It will be your responsibility to provide monthly reporting and analysis on cycle over cycle changes in the demand and supply response from the Rapid Response tool. You will interact and work alongside a cross-functional team of key representatives from Sales, Sales BU, Marketing, Segment teams to proactively handle the EBU product portfolio

      Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

      Handle Demand Forecast for Tactical Horizon (MSR)

      • Prepare slides and present in the monthly meeting – highlighting trends, key changes and reasons driving the change

      • Summarize cycle-on-cycle changes for management review

      • Load the tactical (MSR) and long-range demand (LRD) in rapid response tool

      Analyze monthly supply response for the specific products assigned to planner:

      • Demand/supply match analysis – understanding cycle over cycle changes and impacts on EBU business

      • Reconcile and resolve supply shortage for constrained parts

      • Work with segment team and business operation segment rep on customer allocation and critical supply shortages to drive cross business unit discussion

      • Collaborate with segment teams and supply chain to provide final customer level crafting to the final bit plan that feeds the EBU financial business plan.

      Handle Product End of Life Transitions:

      • Review and present last time buy requests from customer and compare with available supply

      • Optimize inventory to customer demand and minimize financial risk to EBU and ensure a smooth transition for customers

      Drive Continuous Improvement:

      • Find opportunities for process improvement across all Business Operations processes and drive action to improve effectiveness and efficiency

      • Use automation opportunities to increase efficiency across all Business Operation processes

      Provide Segment Support:

      • Understand key customers and business outlook for relevant segments

      • Act as a liaison between Business Operations and segment leads

      • Review customer allocation strategy with segment leads

      • Define the critical supply gaps, communicate to management, incorporate Finance Plan changes and drive action as the need arises

      • Handle customer critical issues as needed

      Required Qualifications:

      • MBA or Master’s degree is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or relevant field.

      • 3-5 years of experience in the Business Operations or Supply Chain field

      • Experience working in fast paced cross-functional team environment across multiple sites while balancing multiple high priority projects

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of data and translate into important information

      • Detail orientated with excellent organization skills and multi-tasking capabilities

      • Excellent communication and presentation skills

      • Intermediate to Sophisticated level of expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint

      • Rapid Response, Tableau, and Power BI experience

      The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

      $87,000.00 - $190,000.00

      Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
