Build and maintain strong relationships with military clients and government agencies, serving as the primary point of contact.
Identify, qualify, and pursue business opportunities that align with KBR’s capabilities and strategic priorities.
Expand KBR’s footprint by developing and executing growth strategies, managing pipelines, and driving capture efforts.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop account plans that align with corporate objectives and customer needs.
Lead proposal efforts, working with technical teams and proposal managers to craft compelling, competitive solutions.
Stay informed on industry trends, acquisition policies, and competitor strategies to refine business development approaches.
Monitor and report on account performance, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and corporate strategy.

U.S. Citizenship required.
15+ years of experience in operations, business development, program management, and proposal support
Established relationships within the U.S. Army market
Strong expertise in government contracting, acquisition trends, and customer purchasing behaviors.
Experience managing opportunities in both CONUS and OCONUS environments.
Ability to thrive in a complex, matrixed organization.
Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
Shipley training certification or equivalent capture management expertise.
Prior military service or experience working with the U.S. Army.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Capture Manager with extensive U.S. Army experience to drive business growth within KBR’s Readiness & Sustainment Solutions business unit. You will lead strategic capture efforts and task orders, leveraging industry expertise, relationships, and internal capabilities to secure new contracts. This role requires a deep understanding of Army operations, government contracting, and business development within the defense sector.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the defense industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, strong strategic planning abilities, and expertise in securing large-scale contracts ($400M+). You will operate with autonomy, managing the full business development lifecycle across multiple pursuits in the DoD and Army landscape.
This position will work remotely with travel as needed.
