      Job summary

      An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join our friendly team at Worthing Hospital.

      We are a forward-thinking department offering a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations and therapies including Transthoracic Echocardiography, Transoesophageal Echocardiography, Ambulatory Monitoring, Exercise Tolerance Testing, Pacemaker, ICD and Complex device implantation, follow up and angiography. We are striving to expand on Physiologist led services and aim to provide and assist staff in Continuing Professional Development.

      This post would be an opportunity for a Physiologist with core knowledge and skills wanting to progress their career.

      Main duties of the job

      • Assisting in the delivery of a high-quality Cardiac Investigation Service
      • Being able to perform a wide range of investigations including pacemaker, ICD and complex device interrogation and follow-up with some supervision; assisting in PPM/ICD/CRT device implant procedures; assisting in all invasive investigations in the Cardiac Catheter Lab and providing comprehensive reports; Leading in Exercise Tolerance Testing as well as undertaking Holter analysis and reporting
