What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure the Chargemaster (CDM) complies with coding and billing regulations and accurately represents services provided
- Serve as the liaison between Hospital ministry and the PSJH System Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department
- Research and address CDM maintenance requests promptly
- Provide training to Hospital ministry staff on the CDM Maintenance process, coding updates, and charge capture improvement
- Respond to inquiries regarding Chargemaster issues from Hospital ministry

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital chargemaster, including knowledge of inpatient and outpatient billing requirements and coding principles
- 3 years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
- 5 years of experience working with Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
- 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
