- Leads new product development and custom formulation projects with focus on high complexity modifications of existing formulas
- Leads technical discussions with customers and converts customer needs into testable quantifiable design targets
- Creates testing plans and monitors project work of co-workers by providing support and coaching to encourage consistent and accurate work and to foster development of critical thinking skills
- Provides technical support and practical guidance to manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and sales force
- Plans and implements improvements that increase efficiency, productivity, quality, or technical expertise in R&D

5+ years of professional related work experience

Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related field is required / Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related field is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to use excellent customer service skills to manages difficult or emotional customer situations
- Track record of responding promptly to customer needs while soliciting customer feedback to improve service
- Excellent technical skills and continuously pursues training and development opportunities
- Observes safety and security procedures to identify and report on potentially unsafe conditions
- Excellent track record of using equipment and materials properly and making improvement suggestions

This role reports into our KitPackers (KPRL) Division located in Germantown, WI. The ideal candidate will be able to work on-site at our facility in Germantown.

You will lead interactions with internal and external customers to generate technical design plans and complete raw material qualifications, validate properties of new products, reformulate and support current products with high complexity and new product development. You will also provide advance-level technical support and troubleshoot a variety of technical products.
