      Professional Indemnity Gallagher Ireland are part of the Arthur J Gallagher Group, one of the largest insurance brokerages in the world. Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are now seeking to add a Senior Client Account Handler (Professional Indemnity) to our team. The successful candidate can be based in any of our office locations in Ireland. This is a full-time, permanent role.

      How you'll make an impact

      • Manage client/prospect relationships and grow your portfolio/existing accounts, providing the most appropriate Professional services Insurance advice & Risk management solutions
      • Negotiate with insurers to obtain best in class coverage & terms for clients that accurately and effectively match client requirements
      • Handle own workload to successfully service the client relationship and ensure placements are completed within proper timeframes
      • Ensure client information is kept up to date
      • Building strong working relationships, collaborating with other Gallagher teams, always treating others in a fair and respectful way.
      • Manage renewals lists within required timelines, adhering to agreed policies and procedures.
      • Obtaining renewal information from clients for review and re-broking.
      • Preparing submissions to markets as required.
      • Preparation and issuing of client renewal terms, and all supporting policy documents, debiting premium
      • Validation of insurer’s policy documentation for accuracy and timely issue of all policy documentation in hard and soft copy formats.
      • Ensuring full disclosure of issues as they arise in line with compliance and legislative requirements, adhering to the relevant codes, CPC, AML/TF, F&P, etc.
      • Taking personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of client service to maximise client retention.
      • Providing advice to customers on implications of policy wordings e.g., policy conditions and exclusions.

      About you

      • Prior experience in an Account Handler / Advisor role in a brokerage/insurance environment
      • This is an MCC role, and the minimum mandatory requirement is Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP), working towards your MDI qualification.
      • Extensive knowledge and understanding of Professional Indemnity, Cyber & Management Liability market products.
      • Robust knowledge of client market and insurance industry network
