What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough due diligence on parties and collateral involved in commercial loans
- Coordinate with bank counsel to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards
- Review loan approvals and internal systems to understand transactions
- Communicate with customers and third parties to ensure all documentation is collected and reviewed
- Organize items for settlement and provide funding instructions to the centralized funding team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience in general studies
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience or related legal review of commercial loan documentation
- Minimum 3 years of experience with commercial lending functions
- Understanding of credit approval processes and attorney closing procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, administration, or a related field
- 5 or more years of experience with attorney closings and review of commercial loan documents
- Paralegal certification
- Knowledge of complex due diligence materials relevant to loan transactions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and nCino programs
