What will you be doing?

The Sr. CSE has joint technical accountability under the direction of senior level engineers for specific opportunities, leveraging knowledge across a broad portfolio, as well as his / her technical specialization(s) as needed. The Sr. CSE will demonstrate how products and solutions can solve the customer's business challenges. He/she collaborates with the Client Manager(s)/Director(s), Inside Sales Reps, Engineering Managers, and peers to recommend, develop, and propose appropriate customer solutions. At WWT, the Senior CSE develops and sustains relationships with internal technical leadership as well as customer technical staff to identify opportunities and develop solutions aligned to their understanding of the customer's business goals/requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Complete on the job training under the guidance of Engineering Managers.
• Understand the technical elements of an opportunity and the different approaches for proposal development, including products, software, bill of materials (BOMs), services (Level of Effort -- LOEs), high-level diagrams, and architectural solutions.
• Coordinate solution development leveraging best practices and researching customized solutions.
• Research and demonstrate solution business benefits. Present technical components of solutions to customer.
• Lead technical solution design and architecture, mapping those solutions and architectures to meet the customer’s business and mission objectives.
• Lead development Statements of Work and Bill of Materials, with coordination with other SMEs with WWT
• Build and Maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Estimate labor hours for Professional Services work.
• Support in the development of business proposals and white paper content.
• Participate in and complete OEM training.

• Study key customers across Tribal Nations to gain advanced understanding of key technical drivers and market trends.
• Lead development of artifacts for RFx responses and White Papers
• Research OEMs to map to customer and business needs and provide findings to Account Teams
• Effectively define and translate customers' business problem into a technical context and vice versa.
• Learn technical solution selling:
• Develop an understanding of the various architectures and service offerings WWT offers and how they're interconnected.
• Ensure the features, benefits, and architectural impact of a technology solution are understood and valued by the customer.
• Learn high performance teamwork:
• Help the Account Team and customer ensure technical initiatives tie into the customer's strategy and goals.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with customers' and partners (OEMs).
• Establish collaborative relationships with internal resources such as the ATC team, Capture, Proposal, Inside Sales Reps, Business Development (BD), Advisory Services, Professional Services (PS), and Presales Engineers at all levels of WWT.

• 5-10+ Years Technical Sales Experience in relevant industry and Expert level technical certification in a single domain and advanced level in other domains.
• 10+ years’ progressive experience as technical consultant, Technical Specialist, System Engineer, or comparable position performing the duties of this position.
• Candidates must have a successful track record in sales, preferably in the Federal Civilian market.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments with a focus in any of the following technologies: Infrastructure Modernization, Multi-Cloud Architecture, Security and Digital Transformation.
• Strong sales consulting experience and the ability to partner with sales, engineering teams and OEMs.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.
• Excellent oral and written communication, product demonstration, customer service, and presentation skills are required.
• Industry certifications are desired (i.e., Cisco, VMware, AWS).
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
