      Senior Copywriter

      Expedia Group’s B2B Creative Team is looking for a talented Copywriter to produce partner-facing communication that engages and motivates partners. From crafting emails to event materials, social messaging outreach, and more — you will produce content that educates and compels partners while creating positive brand experiences. You will also partner with stakeholders across the business to implement standards and practices to evolve Expedia Group’s B2B voice and brand communications.

      Our team is responsible for developing relationships with partners worldwide and supporting their ongoing success on the Expedia Group travel tech platform. You will work closely with all areas of Marketing – brand, demand generation, growth, and more to develop content that connects with specific partner segments and has a measurable impact on the business.

      What you'll do:

      • Ideate and write compelling messaging for our scalable marketing channels, including email, landing pages, articles, case studies, webinar decks, event and sales materials, and more

      • Craft benefit-based storylines that extend across multiple products and programs and position Expedia Group as a trusted advisor that is knowledgeable an easy to work with

      • Understand how to structure a narrative from start to finish and best employ different content tactics across the marketing lifecycle with the ability to present complex information simply, infused with a relatable, human touch

      • Write for distinct partner audiences who may or may not have dedicated account managers by understanding partner needs and priorities

      • Communicate about Expedia Group programs and tools in ways that are clearly and easily understood

      • Apply demand generation best practices, from copy length, CTA wording and link placement) to optimize engagement and conversion. Partner with Marketing Analytics teams to test, revise and optimize content to deliver business results

      • Partner with marketing and business leaders to articulate Expedia Group’s supply strategic goals around communications, product and segments

      • Partner with growth and product marketing teams to understand the full set of customer messages and needs

      • Work with external agencies and freelancers to deliver content that is on brand, in budget and on schedule

      • Serve as the expert on a consistent global brand voice

      Who you are:

      • 5+ years in a related creative role

      • Proven strong written and visual expertise

      • An intimate understanding of copy/design and web best practices/guidelines

      • Experience partnering with product marketing teams

      • Organic, earned, and paid work examples

      • Some experience in content marketing funnel, distribution, and measurement

      • Creative mindset and attitude with bias for action

      • High attention to detail and strong project management skills

      • Ability to collaborate across a global organization

      • Outstanding written/verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex concepts concisely to a variety of audiences, including the highest level of the organization.

      • Strong knowledge of the current and emerging B2B content marketing landscape as well as a vast understanding of effective digital and social strategies, tactics

      • SEO, social media, or other channel expertise

      • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communication, related field) or equivalent practical experience

      • A portfolio with work samples is requested with application

      The total cash range for this position in Austin is $( 110,500) to $( 155,000). Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $(177,000), which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

      Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
