Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Bank Core System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing innovative banking applications and possess the skills and qualifications necessary to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DNA applications using .NET, C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Design and implement robust SQL-based solutions.
• Excellent understanding of Relational Database Design.
• Strong technical experience in database development, performing DDL operations, writing queries and stored procedures, and optimizing database objects.
• Utilize Oracle and PL/SQL to manage databases efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Perform requirements and product mapping between Fiserv DNA and other systems.
• Help with screen-by-screen configuration with Fiserv DNA deposit, lending, and servicing functions.
• Work with business users to define system and application requirements.
• Assist with development, testing, and implementation of business user enhancement requests.
• Create test plans, train, and assist with testing for Fiserv DNA and related applications.
• Maintain and update system setups and configurations.
• Create and analyze reports.
• Create an environment of team collaboration that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts.
• Work on several concurrent initiatives and define project timelines.
• Clearly communicate problem/resolution process to users or management.
• Contribute technical documentation and application procedures.
• Ensure problem calls are tracked, routed properly, and closed.
• Assure compliance to change management and security policies.

Skills and Knowledge

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• 3-5 years of experience in the financial/banking industry.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle SQL Developer.
• 2-5 years of experience in .NET, C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with WCF, WPF, and ASP.NET is a plus.
• 2+ Experience with Fiserv DNA Core solution, DNA creator, and DNA CRMBI
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong understanding of the Fiserv DNA product and integration capabilities is a plus.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of lending deposits and banking operations.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of DBA Console, managing database performance, security, storage, and configurations.
• Experience with API integrations and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team goal.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Self-starter with a willingness to take ownership of requests and find resolutions.
• Recognize opportunities and propose solutions to improve system processes.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident without current or future sponsorship.
