What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle a high volume of calls from patients regarding billing inquiries, payment plans, and general customer concerns
- Process adjustments, refunds, and transfers while performing manual sales as needed
- Evaluate and respond to written billing inquiries, including insurance billing and invoice updates
- Research and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints to ensure full resolution
- Maintain tracking logs of escalated patient correspondence and provide status updates to leadership

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2+ years of customer service experience or experience in a medical office, call center, or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new systems
- Ability to train full-time for the first six weeks, Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with billing/finance and eligibility processes
- Ability to translate complex healthcare jargon into understandable instructions for customers
