What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer a high volume of calls from patients regarding billing inquiries and payment plans
- Process adjustments, refunds, and transfers while performing manual sales
- Evaluate and respond to written billing inquiries, including insurance billing and invoice updates
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex billing issues and customer complaints
- Maintain tracking logs of escalated patient correspondence and provide status updates to leadership

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience or experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new systems
- Ability to work normal business hours of 11:30 am - 8:00 pm EST, Monday - Friday
- Must be 18 years of age or older

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior healthcare experience
- Experience with medical terminology
- Knowledge of billing and eligibility processes
- Proficient in simplifying complex healthcare-related information for customers
