TITAN Cement Group is looking for a Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer to strengthen its Digital Center of Competence, driving the digital transformation of TITAN in the areas of Supply Chain and Customer Experience.
The role will daily collaborate other Data Scientists but also with Data Engineers, Supply Chain experts and professionals with a goal to support the team develop and deliver new, cutting-edge products that will enhance TITAN’s new digital operating model.

What you will do:

• Be part of a team that develops new optimization and ML driven tools for our Supply Chain operations.
• Contribute to and lead part of the development and roll-out of a new suite of optimization tools leveraging big data analysis for ML models (time-series or other structured data) and/or optimization algorithms (with or without the use of ML), for the optimization of the logistics functions (planning, scheduling, dispatching).
• Work in cross functional teams to develop and improve innovative data products that will optimize parts of the cement and ready-mix production process.
• Be involved in the development, deployment and ongoing upgrading and maintenance of the new tools.
• Develop monitoring tools that we will use to evaluate the operation of our tools.

What you will bring:

• BSc in Computer, Engineering or Applied Science field.
• Minimum 2-3 years industry experience in a data analytics domain.
• Hands on experience in getting insights from structured datasets and creating machine learning models using a variety of algorithms.
• Good programming skills in Python.
• Basic understanding in using relational databases.
• Fluency in Greek and English, written and verbal at a professional corporate level.
• Desire to learn from your colleagues and share knowledge within the team.

Bonus if you have:

• MSc/PhD in a data analytics domain.
• Familiarity with optimization algorithms or techniques.
• Operational Research background.
• Degree or experience in Chemical Engineering.
• Knowledge of software development principles (design, source control, testing).
• Experience with Tableau, Shiny, Azure, Graphana, Streamlit.
• Familiarity in developing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
