What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the assigned sales region
- Identify and develop new customer base for biopharmaceutical development and testing services
- Drive and manage the sales and proposal process, negotiating proposal scopes and closing contracts
- Organize and host client site visits and lead exhibiting efforts at conferences
- Provide regular updates and reports for CRM, forecasting, and meetings

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a scientific discipline
- 15+ years of scientific and/or business development experience in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical services industry
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel approximately 25-40% of the time
