What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead a small carrier sales team to achieve significant growth in managed services and resale channel business
- Manage individual sales activities and revenue generation with managed network operators (MNOs) like Verizon
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align sales strategies with company goals
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure consistent and predictable revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in field sales and sales leadership within the SD-WAN and/or cellular-WAN networking industry
- Proven ability to sell to strategic customers in the industry, particularly to MNOs
- Strong understanding of the sales process, including pipeline management and forecasting
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel 40%-60% of the time to support customer engagements and marketing activities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience selling to major carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile
- Proven track record of success in a player/coach role, leading by example to drive team performance
- Familiarity with 4G/5G industrial IoT, networking, and secure edge compute solutions markets
- SD-WAN experience and understanding of managed services with hardware-enabled offerings
