What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communications strategies that align with business objectives
- Manage external agency partners to ensure effective execution of communications plans
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets for favorable coverage
- Oversee the creation and distribution of corporate communications materials such as press releases and social media content
- Lead crisis communications efforts, managing potential issues proactively

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful corporate communications strategies
- Strong media relations skills with established contacts in traditional and digital media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in gene therapy and ophthalmology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with social media management tools and content management systems
