- Chief of Staff and key partner to the WW & US Senior Vice President Commercial in developing a clear framework, systems and tools to build a performance-centric culture to achieve superior results
- Develop and deploys strategic framework for prioritizing commercial initiatives
- Own operational planning for Brand POAs in collaboration with US Brand teams and US Sales
- Establish a disciplined approach to setting, executing, and measuring success against commercial priorities while designing and implementing systems and tools to track performance at a fast-pace cadence
- Own WW and US process for Monthly / Quarterly business reviews with CTO President and BMS CCO
- Own CT portion of BMS Quarterly Earnings calls and Investor Relations events readiness, partnering with Communications, Investor Relations, Early Commercial Strategy and other stakeholders as needed
- Oversees CTO external presence (Executive Account Visits and CT representation at priority congresses) for optimal customer experience and commercial impact
- Identify areas of synergy, best practice, and opportunity for improvement to manage and track performance across CTO and US commercial
- Lead team of two associates (Associate Director and Senior Manager) to develop vision, strategies and plans to build performance-centric systems, tools and communication tools to achieve CTO commercial objectives. Coach and develop team on career aspirations and effectively manage talent to build engagement and long-term impact
- BA/BS required. MBA, PharmD, or other graduate degree strongly preferred
- 12-15 years combined commercial experience across related disciplines, Global and/or local Marketing, BI&A, Finance or strategic management consulting experiences
- Deep understanding of US bio-pharma commercial market and dynamics required
- Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry; possesses a global understanding of end-to-end drug development, manufacturing, and commercialization processes; relevant experience in Cell Therapy is preferable
- Demonstrated strong ability to combine strategic thinking skills and commercial operational acumen to identify strategic and/or operational opportunities to drive performance for superior results
- Experience working cross-functionally at senior management level and ability to direct/guide complex business and enterprise-wide decision-making at leadership team and above
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and design, manage or implement multiple projects simultaneously
- Results driven, with excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills
- Executive communication style; concise and impactful oral & written communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional, matrixed teams, maintaining strong relationships and influencing outcomes

Position: Senior Director, Global Cell Therapy, Strategy & Operations

The Senior Director, Global Cell Therapy Organization (CTO), Strategy & Operations (CTO and US Performance) will act as a key partner to WW & US Senior Vice President Commercial and corresponding leadership team. BMS is the only company to have two approved cell therapies against two distinct targets on the market (Abecma and Breyanzi), and a robust pipeline of next generation autologous assets to follow in the near-term. The Senior Director will have the chance to play a critical part in driving performance of the two in-line therapies and pave the way for the success of the pipeline.
The role will report to the Executive Director, CT Head of Strategy and Operations. The Sr Director will be mainly embedded with the CT US commercial team and will manage a team of two associates (Associate Director and Senior Project Manager) responsible for defining and tracking performance & execution metrics for the WW and US CTO commercial operations, ensuring a coordinated high impact external CTO presence, and provide Chief of Staff support to the SVP CT Commercial. The incumbent will identify execution improvement opportunities and pull through to recommend a focused executional improvement plan for immediate impact. In addition, the Sr Director will be accountable to drive the CTO portion of the BMS enterprise Investor Relations and Quarterly earnings readiness processes.
