Zippy was founded with one mission: to make getting a loan for a manufactured home simple, fast, and fully online. We believe modern manufactured homes are affordable, well-built, eco-friendly, and stylish, but finding a lender who understands this market can be challenging. That's why Zippy focuses exclusively on manufactured home loans, offering a seamless, digital experience.

Headquartered in Dallas, TX, with an office in Tempe, AZ, Zippy provides home loans and insurance to manufactured home buyers throughout the United States. Our remote-first team is spread across cities like Dallas, Houston, Knoxville, Omaha, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and several other states and cities. Backed by institutional investors, we offer competitive pay, stock options, and excellent benefits. At Zippy, we pride ourselves on our commitment to finance happiness through the power of home. We are dedicated to enhancing consumers' financial outcomes and tackling the affordable housing crisis through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.
      The Opportunity

As Senior Director, Sales & Partnerships, you will own the development and execution of strategies that significantly increase Zippy's loan origination volume. You'll lead a growing team focused on B2B2C partnerships (community and channel partners) and sales (MLOs and MLO assistants and customer service). Your mandate is to improve the processes, discipline, and accountability that drive measurable results, while reducing costs and improving scalability.

You will partner closely with our Senior Director of Fulfillment to create a seamless borrower journey, ensuring qualified leads convert to funded loans efficiently. This role requires a seasoned leader who has successfully managed building and/or high-growth sales organizations, ideally within mortgage, auto finance, or broader fintech contexts.

      Key Responsibilities
      1. Strategic Sales Leadership
        • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to expand and deepen partnerships and optimize lead generation via new and existing channel partnerships.
        • Champion a repeatable, metrics-driven sales process that converts leads into funded loans while collaborating with Fulfillment on handoffs.
        • Own key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead volume, qualified lead conversion rates, and partial ownership of originations revenue, ensuring accountability across the sales organization.
      2. B2B2C Partnership Expansion
        • Manage partnership team focused on overseeing and growing relationships with existing channel partners.
        • Activate new partner channels to reach a broader market segment by creating new channel teams for expansion.
        • Ensure each partner has effective training, enablement tools, and ongoing communication to maximize lead flow and borrower satisfaction.
      3. Team Management & Development
        • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of partnership managers, MLOs, MLO assistants, and potentially customer service reps, fostering a high-performance culture. Current team includes: Sr. Manager of BizDev, Sr. Manager of Partnerships, MLO Manager.
        • Clarify roles, set performance goals, and build cohesive, repeatable processes to run day-to-day operations without requiring constant executive involvement.
        • Drive professional growth by providing regular coaching, career development, and clear feedback loops.
      4. Operational Efficiency & Innovation
        • Spearhead the implementation of partial offshoring and automated solutions to reduce cost-to-produce, without compromising on quality or service.
        • Collaborate with Product, BizOps, and Fulfillment to integrate technology that boosts partner engagement and borrower satisfaction.
        • Use analytics to continually refine processes, track performance metrics, and quickly address bottlenecks in the sales pipeline.
      5. Cross-Functional Alignment
        • Work hand-in-hand with the Senior Director of Fulfillment to ensure seamless document collection, processing, and underwriting handoffs.
        • Maintain open communication with the VP of Growth, leveraging insights to influence forecasting, product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and strategic priorities.
        • Provide strong leadership in a remote-first environment, ensuring consistent collaboration, while remaining adaptable to a possible in-office model in the future.
      6. Financial & Operational Oversight
        • Own the Sales & Partnerships budget and resource allocation; measure ROI on initiatives and headcount.
        • Prepare reliable forecasts and business analyses for the leadership team and investors.
        • Uphold compliance and regulatory requirements in the mortgage/loan origination process, ensuring ethical and professional standards.
      About You
      • Experience & Expertise
        • 10+ years total experience, with 4+ years managing partnerships and/or sales teams in mortgage, auto finance, consumer loans, fintech, or related financial services.
        • Proven success in developing B2B2C partnerships (e.g., dealer networks, broker channels) - not just lead buying.
        • Demonstrated track record of building scalable sales processes and introducing operational efficiencies.
      • Leadership & Accountability
        • Highly metrics-driven; you regularly set KPIs, track progress, and hold teams accountable to quantifiable outcomes.
        • Adept at organizational design and cultivating a performance culture; your teams know their objectives and love the process you create.
        • Comfortable working autonomously-able to run the day-to-day.
      • Collaboration & Adaptability
        • Exceptional communicator who can earn buy-in through trust and results.
        • Comfortable leading a remote-first team, with the flexibility to transition to a hybrid or in-office environment if needed.
        • Motivated by Zippy's mission to create financial solutions for underserved markets and to solve the affordable housing crisis.

Please note that we are currently only hiring candidates who reside in the following states: Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
