The SAP Foundations Senior Director will lead SAP S/4 HANA Centers of Excellence in partnership with key suppliers, driving strategic direction and execution of key SAP initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing centralized SAP COEs, including implementation, maintenance and support, with a focus on APIs, enhancements, conversions, reports and level 1 support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP implementation (including at least one major S/4 HANA implementation), support and management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Implementation experience with SAP cloud solutions such as BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud).
• Proven track record of successful SAP implementations, including APIs, custom enhancements, conversions and reporting solutions.
• Experience managing SAP COEs in a global, Fortune 100 company preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the strategic vision for the SAP COE in alignment with overall business objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of SAP systems.
• Collaborate closely with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of SAP initiatives with business needs. Foster strong partnerships to drive innovation and maximize value from SAP investments.
• Lead a team of global SAP professionals, providing guidance, coaching and mentorship to ensure high performance and career development. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning within the SAP COEs.
• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of SAP solutions, including APIs, custom enhancements, conversions and reports. Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and governance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide oversight of level 1 support activities for SAP systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective incident management processes. Implement proactive measures to minimize system downtime and optimize performance.
• Manage relationships with SAP vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement and value optimization in vendor engagements.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to SAP systems, data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Implement robust controls and monitoring mechanisms to safeguard the integrity and security of SAP environments.
