What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide engineering support and project management for capital projects and major repair projects
- Design circuit and layout drawings of control and power panels
- Coordinate with engineering and shop personnel on existing machine control modifications
- Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Inspect electrical components during and after product installation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 12 years working experience in the Electrical Engineering field
- Experience in the design and operation of high-speed manufacturing and converting equipment
- Knowledge of Siemens controls required
- Proficient in computer-aided design and drafting software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge/Experience with equipment used in the production of non-woven fiberglass based materials or paper industry
- Ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment
- Ability to determine customer needs to develop project specifications and scope
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret and implement specifications
