What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the electrical engineering lead for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects
- Prepare EPC RFP packages and associated technical specifications for projects
- Evaluate EPC proposals to assist in the selection of preferred contractors
- Provide technical support during negotiations of EPC contracts
- Review electrical engineering design drawing packages and supporting calculations from EPC contractors

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects as part of an EPC team or as an Owner’s Engineer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to guide others
- Must not require sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S.

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working directly with power plant developers and owners, lenders, and investors
- Familiarity with renewable low-voltage systems (both DC and AC)
- Knowledge of AC collection systems for solar and batteries
- Understanding of collector substations and interconnecting substation expansions
- Experience with gen-tie transmission projects
