What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, test, and document embedded system software for new and existing products
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for medical products
- Write and maintain design documentation and testing requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Manufacturing
- Mentor junior engineers as requested and participate in product design reviews

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems and processors like ARM, TI, or ST
- Knowledge of signal processing and numerical techniques
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, and/or USB
- Experience with FDA and other medical regulatory environments
- Knowledge of wireless protocols like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
- Agile or other software development life cycle concepts
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
