What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, test, and document embedded system software for new and existing medical products
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in software design and maintenance
- Maintain design documentation and testing requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical and regulatory specifications
- Participate in product design reviews and mentor junior engineers as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in embedded software engineering
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers such as ARM, TI, or ST
- Knowledge of signal processing, numerical techniques, and real-time systems
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, and/or USB communication protocols
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming in C and RTOS
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and medical regulatory environments
- Understanding of wireless protocols like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
- Experience with Agile or other software development life cycle methodologies
