What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, test, and document embedded system software for new and existing products
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for medical products
- Write and maintain design documentation and testing requirements
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to meet design specifications
- Lead and mentor junior engineers as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems
- Familiarity with processors like ARM, TI, ST, or similar microcontrollers
- Good understanding of real-time systems and effective communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, and/or USB
- Experience with RTOS and FDA medical regulatory environments
- Familiarity with wireless protocols like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
- Background in object-oriented programming as implemented in C
- Understanding of Agile or other software development life cycle concepts
