What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review projects to identify environmental issues and permitting requirements
- Develop and implement permitting strategies for assigned development projects
- Prepare and submit necessary permit applications while managing consultants
- Lead environmental compliance filing for projects under development and/or operation
- Conduct environmental and permitting due diligence on potential sites for renewable energy projects

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project permitting and environmental review
- Knowledge of environmental permitting regulations, including NEPA and CEQA
- Strong problem-solving, negotiating, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with project management tools like MS Project or Smartsheet

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with ArcGIS for environmental analysis
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal and consultant teams effectively
- Previous experience in renewable energy project development
- Strong organizational and planning skills
