WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Lead Environmental Scientist to support our Connecticut operations, in our Glastonbury and Shelton, CT offices. Be involved in projects with our Earth and Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

• Prepare environmental work plans and manage projects through completion, on time and budget
• Manage existing clients and develop new business
• Supervise, mentor and train junior staff
• Data analysis and interpretation to determine the next course of action

Who You Are

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental engineering.
• Professional Geologist (P.G.) licensure preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as an environmental consultant with strong understanding of CERCLA, RCRA and TSCA
• The candidate must have strong computer and writing skills. Proficiency with ESRI’s ArcGIS software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Professional Geologist (P.G.) licensure preferred
• Essential professional licensure/certification.
• 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred.
