What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently plan, organize, and implement a variety of events, both in-person and virtually
- Provide comprehensive coordination and management oversight for medium to large-scale events
- Collaborate with clients to produce high-quality events that meet their needs and represent the campus effectively
- Maintain a high standard of productivity while managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ensure crowd management and safety protocols are adhered to during events

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training
- 3-5 years of event planning experience
- Thorough knowledge of event planning principles, practices, and public relations
- Highly developed interpersonal communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively work with diverse populations, including donors and university officials

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of UCI's vision, mission, and event management policies
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in volunteer recruitment and supervision
- Understanding of UCI accounting forms and procedures
- Previous involvement with arts programs or organizations
